1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or using the services of Staten Key Bros LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Staten Key Bros LLC is a mobile locksmith licensed by the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP), serving Staten Island, New York (ZIP codes 10301–10314). Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Automotive key cutting and programming
  • Car, home and business lockouts
  • Rekeying, lock repair and lock replacement
  • Residential and commercial locksmith services

All services are subject to availability, vehicle compatibility, lock condition and access to the service location. We do not duplicate ordinary house or office keys.

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • The price we quote by phone, text or online is the final price for the job as you describe it.
  • There is no service call fee and no after-hours, weekend or holiday surcharge. A job costs the same at 11 PM as it does at noon.
  • If, once we arrive, the job turns out to be materially different from what was described (for example, a different key type or a lock more damaged than reported), we will explain the difference and give you a new price before doing any additional work. You decide whether to proceed.
  • No work begins without your approval.

4. Cancellations

  • There is no charge if you cancel before we head out.
  • If you cancel or decline the job after we have already driven to your location, a $20 trip charge applies.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about the lock, vehicle or property
  • Show proof of ownership or authorization to access the property or vehicle (for example, ID, registration or a lease)
  • Provide safe and unobstructed access to the service location
  • Ensure pets, occupants or hazards do not interfere with the work

We reserve the right to refuse service if ownership or authorization cannot be verified.

6. Automotive Services

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing electrical, mechanical or security system issues, manufacturer defects, or aftermarket modifications.
  • Key programming depends on vehicle compatibility and system condition. Some vehicles require dealership access or manufacturer authorization; if that applies to your vehicle, we will tell you before any work starts.

7. Damage Limitation

We take reasonable care with every job, but locksmith work involves mechanical components that may already be worn or damaged. Staten Key Bros LLC is not liable for:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by prior repairs or improper installations
  • Hidden defects in locks, doors, ignitions or vehicles

8. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due on completion of the job, on-site.
  • We accept all major credit and debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App and cash.
  • Unpaid balances may be subject to collection efforts as permitted by law.

9. Google Local Services Ads

  • Calls and messages made through Google Local Services Ads may be recorded or monitored by Google.
  • We may access call records to manage service quality and resolve disputes.
  • Google’s own terms and privacy policies apply independently.

10. Warranty

  • Any warranty applies only to the labor performed, unless otherwise stated.
  • Manufacturer parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, not ours, unless explicitly stated.
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, tampering or third-party repairs.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New York law, Staten Key Bros LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of data or loss of property access. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service performed.

12. Website Use

  • Website content is provided for informational purposes only.
  • Unauthorized copying or distribution of website content is prohibited.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website operation.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
